Our Bikes
Our Felt Nine 70 hardtails will take you anywhere you need to go. If you’re planning off-road adventures, the fat tyres, front suspension and hydraulic disc brakes are just the ticket. If you tell us you’re sticking mainly to the roads, we’ll fit slicker tyres and show you how to lock-out the suspension (you still get the great brakes!).
We’ve got sizes to suit riders from about 5’0″ to 6’5″, so older kids can ride them too.
We also have a couple of Giant Twist Lite electric bikes – pedal further, pedal faster! The battery takes the edge off the big hills, takes the sting out of a headwind, makes it possible to keep up with the kids or ride further with a tag-a-long. Is it cheating? Do we care? It’s lots of fun!
They suit riders from around 5’3″ to 6’0″ or so.
For the young pédaleurs, we’ve also got a couple of Adventure Ditto One trailer bikes. These clamp onto the seatpost of a standard bike with a flexible hitch. The kids still pedal, which definitely takes the sting out of having the extra weight at the back!
What’s included
Bikes come with helmet, lights, bell, hi-vis vest, lock, basic toolkit, pump and a spare inner tube. You’ll also get a Black Isle Visitors map.

*Hybrid bikes £15 full day. Long term loan rates available for locals
* Electric Bikes £25 full day. Long term loan rates available for locals
* Tagalong £10. Long term loan rates available for locals
Payment & Paperwork
Hire a top quality hybrid bike or an electric bike at Brownhill, Hillockhead between Rosemarkie and Cromarty See what we have using here.
To hire a bike:
1. “Create an account” on our booking website
2. Take out a “visitor” membership (£10) at least 48 hours in advance of the booking
3. Choose the bikes and on the dates you need them.
4. Collect the bikes at the appropriate site (as per email instructions)
5. Return the bikes ready for the next user
Payment of hire is taken online and usually made 48 hours in advance (sorry no cash payments) via the card used for the visitor membership fee.
